TikTok is slowly ruining film - as well as your attention span with it. With a society that would rather watch a 60-second dance video as opposed to a challenging drama movie, it got me thinking about how platforms like TikTok and YouTube are conditioning audiences to not actively engage with their content. We all just want a distraction from real life instead of artistic cinema that makes us think. Studios know this and it is effecting movie production and distribution through the use of algorithms and artificial intelligence. TikTok is killing REAL artistic film.
