"Fiore" is a micro-budget independent short film introducing the figure of medieval Italian fencing master Fiore dei Liberi, one of the fathers of European fencing.

The project was made possible by the coming together of a team of passionate reenactors and filmmakers, in the attempt to achieve a more historically accurate depiction of the Middle Ages in film. The medieval aesthetics and the fights have been reconstructed in accordance with the indications of experts in the respective fields, compatibly with the available budget.
