Lift Method Fishing - Unmissable Bites on the Waggler Float. The Lift Method used to be the go to type of fishing for Tench back in the 1960s, but it is also a great method for targeting shy biting species like Crucian Carp or Bream. These species often pick up a bait and just sit still with it in their mouths which means that no bite is registered on the float.

Using the Lift method however, means that the float rises up out of the water and creates almost unmissable bites. Gone are the days of having to dot your float down so that only a dimple shows above the surface. Now you can see greatly exaggerated indications on the float tip from even the most shy biting fish.
