Jade was ready and raring to go this morning! She was out in the yard when I arrived and was literally hopping with excitement for her walk! We did a brisk 0.8 miles on a different route than we've done yet this staycation. She ate her wet food with gusto and then settled down for a deep nap. Bella, on the other hand, was only interested in receiving some treats and did not want to be petted this morning. I obliged her and she is ready for her shift on the Neighborhood Watch at her window perch. I gave Jade some treats in her snuffle mat and they are all set for a relaxing day! Looking forward to being back this afternoon!

A good afternoon with the girls! Bella is moody again but did enjoy a brief session with my back scratcher - she seemed to especially like having her cheeks scritched once she got used to the idea. Jade was super eager for her walk and we did a good 0.6 miles around the neighborhood, briefly visiting the Groves Lincoln Park II over at the corner. Jade had a good appetite for her dinner. The fountains are full, as well as their kibbles, and the litter box is clean. Jade got another Churu-filled bone to keep her occupied this evening and I can hardly wait to be back tomorrow!
