The criss-cross wire technique is a basic technique. You can change the number of wires, the path of the wires to create different patterns.
You can apply this technique to other stone shapes, or apply it in combination with other techniques.

materials I used : Soft copper wire :
20 gauge ( wire diameter 0.8mm ) : 15cm ( 6 inch) : main wire
22 gauge ( wire diameter 0.6mm ) : 4x15cm ( 6 inch) : criss-cross wire
26 gauge ( wire diameter 0.4mm ) : 20cm ( 8 inch) : wrapped wire
Round cabochon 2cm diameter (opalite stone)
