In this video I review the LK Chen Snow Peak Jian and discuss a little history about the development of jianfa. After the fall of the Qing dynasty, China went through a chaotic period, and many modernizers wished to leave seemingly archaic traditions like martial arts to the past, but these arts reformed and rebranded themselves with the growth of China's Guoshu "national arts" movement.
