In this video I share my review of Hula, a novel by Jasmin Iolani Hakes. This book had a personal connection for me since I have a deep love of the Hawaiian culture from my experience practicing hula. I also included some other book recommendations that work as excellent companion books for this novel, whether you are familiar with Hawaiian culture and language or not. Hula was also the first book I read/listened to as an audiobook! I share my experience here, and why this particular book was an excellent choice as an audiobook.
