Burning River Baroque explores refugee stories. In 1655 Rosenmüller and several students were arrested and imprisoned on the suspicion of homosexuality. He escaped from prison and fled to Italy. Despite the scandal surrounding his personal life, Rosenmüller established himself as one of the most famous German composers of his time.
