'Tracing The Footprint' tells the story of ‘Wolsey’s College’; a significant college complex spearheaded by Cardinal Thomas Wolsey that, if completed, would have made Ipswich one of the world’s greatest seats of education.

However, following Wolsey’s fall from grace from King Henry VIII, the college was never completed. All that remains is Wolsey's Gate, and an extensive archive of historic sketches, maps and documents.

Using the latest augmented reality (AR) technology and research from Suffolk Archives and Christ Church Oxford University, 'Tracing The Footprint' provides a glimpse into how Wolsey’s vision could have looked in the context to contemporary Ipswich.
