Wilder was diagnosed with Autism at age 4. In addition to Autism she was diagnosed with intractable epilepsy, global developmental and speech delays - all associated with a rare genetic mutation (TUBB2A). Wilder loves going for rides and going fast. In this film we follow Wilder and her family on an Alaskan adventure to Knik Glacier.

Adventure for Ava is a nonprofit program focused on kids and families with special needs / disabilities. We work towards practicing inclusion in the outdoors by taking kids and families out on a safe and accessible adventure. We capture their story on film and share their inspiring stories with the world.
