This weekend I began construction on something I have dreamed of building for a long time: an observatory. And the first step is digging a hole and filling it with a pier.

We have three channels. In the UNDERSTORY program, we explore natural history and issues of conservation. The Microstory program portrays the mysterious and beautiful world of the microscopic. The Sky Story program explores the cosmos and delves into astrophotography.
