Today Yamaha announced the first release of the Montage M ESP (Expanded Softsynth Plugin). This plugin, available for free for existing Montage M owners, allows you to install a plugin VST version of the Montage M and run it from within your DAW - with no connection to the Montage M hardware. It also allows you to transfer performance data to and from hardware Montage M synthesizers. In this video I upgrade my Montage M7 firmware, then install and test out the new Montage M ESP!
