KOH PANYEE!! A MUSLIM VILLAGE FLOATING IN THE SEA OF THAILAND APPEARS TO BE OF JAVANESE DESCENDANT?

Thailand apparently has a village with an Indonesian feel. The village is called Koh Panyi or local people usually call it Koh Panyee. This fishing village is located around the Andaman Sea or off the southern coast of Thailand, Phang Nga Province.
Koh Panyee is hidden in a bay in southern Thailand. This floating village is protected by a cluster of limestone rocks up to 20 meters high. According to history, Koh Panyee Village was originally founded by three fishing families of Javanese descent around 200 years ago.
They reproduced and continued to grow until today the population is more than 1,680 people and 400 families. The majority of the population also adheres to Islam. The origins of Koh Panyee village began when three families were looking for a location to catch fish.
