Located approx 2 hours west of Esperance, Mason's bay is a campground run by the local councilπ
Access to the campground will be available with 2WD vehicles. There are approx 20mins of dirt roads to reach the campgroundβsome small parts of corrugation but nothing to concern even a 2WD. The road in is low-lying, so if itβs had some decent rain, Iβd imagine it would get cut off or boggy, so keep that in mind π

Comprising of 34 sites, Masons Bay is a spacious campground spread out so that everyone has their own privacy and room! Out of the 34 sites, Iβd say 20 or so are suitable for medium/large size vansπ
We had site 2 for our stay and shared it with @fivefreedomtravellers ! It was big enough for two vans. Site 2 was protected from the wind that picked up on one of the days.π
The other picks would be sites 27,28 & 29π€

π€ΏSnorkelling
Some great opportunities to snorkel right off the beach, with numerous rock outcrops and reefs lying just off the shore.
π Set Up On The Beach
Drive the car down to the beach and set up for the dayπ
π Fishing/Squiding & Spearfishing
Fancy a feed of seafood? Take your pick here π€ We caught some whiting, skipjack herring & squid π
Use lightweight squid jigs to stay above weedπ£
Thereβs a ripper little spearfishing spot to the SE of the campground, where there is protection from a reef and rock face. Best to have a boat to get you out there, but it makes for a great spot to get a feed! Some big ones there π
