Presented by Aaron Isaacs
January 16, 2024

They started life in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul and are now one of the last fleets of PCC cars still in revenue service, having traveled far and wide. With lots of photos, Minnesota Streetcar Museum historian Aaron Isaacs will tell you their story, which started with a PCC that was supposed to go to Pittsburgh.

Aaron Isaacs grew up with the Minnesota Streetcar Museum, which his father help found in 1962. He has volunteered for 48 years, and is now the Board chair and historian. He edits the museum's quarterly Twin City Lines history magazine and has written seven books on Minnesota's streetcars and railroads. He is also the long-time magazine editor for the HeritageRail Alliance.
