Okay… so there is no ‘absolute’ place to start on the eye when you’re doing a new set, but there are different ways to do things that will get you slightly different results. Take this set for example… I prefer to start my sets from the outer of the eye (the side closest to the ear), and work my way towards the nose. The only exception to this rule would be the inner lashes; sometimes I’ll start with the inners, then bounce back to my normal, then lashing on the outer and working my way closer towards the inners.

So… what happens when you start on the inner (closest to the nose) and work your way towards the outer? The answer is simple: it gives you a different look or style. How? You’re just going to have to watch and find out why this isn’t my favorite way to lash and why.
