উত্তর কলকাতার সিমলা এলাকায় আমাদের ভীষণ পরিচিত একটা জায়গা হেদুয়া পার্ক। খাতায় কলমে এর নাম আজাদ হিন্দ বাগ হলেও সচরাচর বেশ প্রাচীন এই পুকুরটিকে হেদুয়া বা সংক্ষেপে হেদো বলেই ডাকা হয়। কিন্তু কিভাবে এলো এই হেদো নামটি? সেই গল্প নিয়েই আমাদের এবারের পর্ব “হেদুয়া পার্কের গপ্পো”।

Hedua Park is a very familiar place in the Shimla locality of North Kolkata. Although it’s officially named as Azad Hind Bagh but this pond is usually called Hedua or Hedo for short. But how did the name Hedo come? This episode of Kolkatar Golpokotha narrates that story.
