First up, we visit LA-based canine groomer Jess Rona, who's turned her work into a social media video art sensation. Then, we see how theater group Phantom Limb combines human and puppet actors to surreal effect for their newest play, Memory Rings, addressing the human relationship to nature. In Johannesburg, we head to the Kalashnikovv Gallery, a subversive art/project space challenging the academic mainstream by showcasing gritty, experimental, yet accessible work from independent artists.
Note: Phantom Limb Company is a participant in Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's Process Space program. Falling Out is being developed as part of Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's Process Space program. Supported by the Japan Foundation through the Performing Arts JAPAN program.
