This 1970 Porsche began life as a 911E and was built into a Carrera RSR-style race car in 2004 by Cox Racing. It was subsequently campaigned in HSR, SVRA, and PCA events before being modified further and repainted in Viper Green by John James Racing between 2014 and 2015. The car was then raced three times before it was acquired by the seller in January 2020.

Power is from a twin-plug flat-six engine that was rebuilt in 2020 to 3.6 liters and fitted with modified camshafts, custom JE pistons, Pauter connecting rods, and upgraded bearings. The car is also equipped with a magnesium-case 915 transaxle, a limited-slip differential, 50mm PMO carburetors, a Fuel Safe fuel cell, a front-mounted dry-sump oil tank, 930 brake calipers, multi-piece Fuchs-style wheels, customized suspension, tubular chassis bracing, a roll cage, Lexan rear windows, custom instrumentation, a fire-suppression system, and a Recaro racing seat.
