I caught up with Allan Jeans in Townsville 1996 in his role as a coaches coach. He travelled around Australia holding seminars in support of coaches as valuable members of society.

Jeans (1933-2011) coach in 575 VFL games between St Kilda, Hawthorn and Richmond. Winning the Saints one and only premiership in 1966 and three Hawks premierships in 1983, 1986, 1989.
