Jalan Godean Yogyakarta, one of the busiest roads, connecting districts and provinces, is in a very uncomfortable condition to pass. In 2024, the regional government of the Special Region of Yogyakarta will disburse a budget of more than 11 billion for the revitalization of Godean Road. The project is already underway starting in Sidoluhur village with a length of approximately 2km. The old asphalt appears to have been completely dredged up and will be replaced with new asphalt. Opening and closing of the road is enforced on the section currently under construction.
