Dungsey Gyana Ta Jigme Pema Woesel Rinpoche was officially recognized as the reincarnation of Kyabje Dungsey Thinle Norbu Rinpoche on October 27, 2015, a full moon day. Chhoekhorling, previously known as Kulikata, was one of the first residence of Kyabje Dungsey Thinle Norbu Rinpoche. The people of the community made repeated requests to formally enthrone Dungse Gyana Ta Rinpoche as the Yangsey in Chhoekhorling. The enthronement ceremony lasted for two days, and was attended by thousands of devotees.
