My snowblower fuel hose was degrading and needed replacement. When I checked the hose, I saw that it was standard SAE 30R6 hose. While that will work for a while, there are newer spec hoses, such as Gates Barricade hose that have an ethanol resistant liner. This hose is SAE 30R14 T1 or T2. The barrier layer also helps prevent fuel evaporation through the walls of the hose.
