In this interview, we interview Rev. Jan Chase. Jan Chase, minister of Unity Church of Pomona, presents weekly Sunday Services, and offers meditation and book studies online for her interfaith church. She has been involved with a number of interfaith groups in the Pomona area over the years and presented at all the global Parliament of World Religions since 2009. The Salt Lake Parliament in 2015 provided a springboard for the 26 interfaith presenters from Southern California to dive into the Compassionate Cities Movement. She says, "Returning inspired by the many workshops on Compassionate Cities, we determined to work to build Compassionate Cities throughout our valley. On April 2, 2018 the City of Pomona, CA officially signed the Proclamation to become Compassionate Pomona. We have been building alliances and doing amazing compassionate work in our community since that time."
