Finally we got the opportunity to see which is better. My friend's Snap On CT861DB 14.4v 3/8" vs. my DeWalt 12v 1/2" DCF901.
There have been times where we didnt know which was stronger. Both impacts have impressed us at times and disappointed us at times.
The Snap On CT861DB 14.4v 3/8" has some very impressive power for a 3/8" impact but can it beat the Dewalt DCF901 12v 1/2" impact that comes in at less than half the price of the Snap On?
We test is on some F150 lugs nuts that I run down evenly with my DCF900 in the #2 mode setting. Then we see which compact impact can break the lug nuts loose and how fast.
This was just a fun spur of the moment test and demo.
