These are the BASICS that you NEED to know.

You're a surfer right.... and you've got hips, so these are some stretching positions you should be familiar with.

Had a heavy long surf with heavy bouts of paddling and a sore back? Stretch those hip flexors!

Feeling stiff and cumbersome through your turns? Work on external and internal rotation of the hip joint with a 90/90 stretch.

The aim is to progress towards more dynamic movement (watch my Hip Mobility and Strength Routine on youtube), but you need to start with these fundamental hip stretches for surfers.

Get these dialed in, know how to work on and improve your own body, and carry over that capacity for movement to the ocean.
