I drove 160 minutes to get here. This is the stretch of sandy beach in front of the station where my grandfather, who passed away before I was born, was stationmaster. My father spent a happy boyhood in a home by that station. If you look closely at the video, you can slightly make out a white seagull, moving on waves from right to left.
