How to turn confirmation chirps on and off (Silent Arm/Disarm) on a Compustar car alarm with a 2-Way remote. I'm using the Compustar T9 Remote Control, but this will work on all 2-way remotes such as the 901-SS, T10, T11R-SS and T12-SS.

➡️ There is now a THIRD option beside Enable/Disabled for "1-16"! It is called "Silent Alarm." This will page the remote, but lights and siren will NOT sound and flash when the alarm is triggered. Hold Trunk Button for 3 seconds (instead of tapping unlock) following the 16 chirps to select this. It may not be available if your firmware is too old.

➡️ I show how to program the Siren Muting option to enabled using the remote control, for newer models this option is disabled by default so turning the siren chirps off will result in an error until this option is enabled. The programming will likely be required for all models flashed with the latest firmware.
