INFORMATION:
Cieza is a municipality and Spanish city belonging to the Region of Murcia, located in the Vega Alta del Segura region of which it is the capital. It acts as a natural entrance to the Region of Murcia from the north through the A-30. With 35,283 inhabitants, it is the eighth most populous municipality in the autonomous community.

Cieza has a rich and lively cultural heritage, such as its Holy Week and San Bartolomé festivities. It also houses many archaeological treasures that cover different historical periods: cave paintings, Iberian settlements, Roman remains and the Muslim site of Siyasa, which dominates the current site of Cieza from the foot of the castle and has a permanent exhibition in the city museum.
