The annual SAQA conference, "Plurality and Heritage," will be held online from April 12-20, 2024. It's open to everyone; you don't have to be a SAQA Member to attend! This unique event will focus on fiber art and artists creating in Europe and the Middle East. We are proud to present speakers from the following countries: the UK, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Finland, Scotland, France, Switzerland, Latvia, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Israel, Poland, and Serbia.

Our keynote speakers are Kinga Földi and Susie Koren. Join us in learning about and celebrating the phenomenal textile art in this diverse region.

The conference will take place online from April 12 - 20 in short daily sessions. Attendees will have access to recordings for 3 months.

Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc. (SAQA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the art quilt: "a creative visual work that is layered and stitched or that references this form of stitched layered structure."

Founded in 1989 by an initial group of 50 artists, SAQA now has over 4,000 members: artists, teachers, collectors, gallery owners, museum curators, and corporate sponsors.
