I remember singing this a lot back in my seminary days.
The words just bleed of passionate desire for God,
as the song invite Him to hold us by the hand in this earthly pilgrimage.

The song is a repetitive chant, so do not worry if you do not see a lot of words being translated. The English words you find in this video are enough to give you what the repeated verses mean.

There are many Ilocano praise and liturgical songs that are beautiful... I hope to cover more of them in this channel. Thanks to all those who continue to encourage me to use my gift, and I hope it is helping some people to focus on the essential things of life.

Thanks, Fr. Walde for this excellent composition. Peace to you.

Here's the chord pattern, for those who are asking:

(A-D-E-D-A-E7pause)
Tumangadak Kenka Apo. (A-D)
Ket Iyebkasko toy ar-ararawko (E-D-A)
Ita asim ken ayatmo (A-A7-D)
Innak italek toy asugko... (E-D-A)

Ngarud O Dios Apo Kenka, innak dawaten (A-AM7-Bm)
Datoy adipenmo ala, inka kad kibinen (E-E7-D-A)
Ala inka tarabayen, ala inka saranayen (E-A-D-Bm)
Tapno agtalinaed a bukodmo laeng. (E-E7-A)
