At a news conference in Hastings, Sylvia Jones, Ontario’s deputy premier and minister of health, announces a $910-million investment to increase the availability of ambulances across the province.

She is joined by Connor Dorey (chief administrative officer, Hastings County), Carl Bowker (chief, Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services), and Michael Sanderson (president, Ontario Association of Paramedic Chiefs).
