Breathe in, breathe out! Hear that, silence! Plenty of silence to be enjoyed on that 40-mile beach 🤐


Seriously I could talk the arm of a chair, but sometimes it’s good to sit back and enjoy some quiet time, and 40 mile delivered.


Access is accessible to the main campground ( near the caretaker ) and would be easily achievable in a 2WD. You will be nearby to others though.
If you’ve got a 4WD, you can find a beautiful spot along the 3KM’s of coastline that offers camping for only $16 per site. From October 1st - April 30th, this campground is free 💰


There is some soft sand on some of the sites near the beach; we let our tyres down slightly after noticing our site was a bit soft and had no issues there after 🙏🏼 If you were just in a 2WD vehicle without towing, I’d be confident in getting to most sites 🙌


The campground is dog friendly, and fires are allowed, but you must bring your own firewood as collecting wood from the area is prohibited 🔥
The splendour of the bay offers not only quality fishing but also protection for those wishing to cool off in the tranquil waters.


The camp area offers a natural boat ramp, public toilets for day users and dump points💩


You must have a chemical toilet to stay here, which eliminates the bush being littered with poop tickets 🧻
Make sure you bring plenty of drinking water as there is none available on site.💦


We found there were a few midgies around but nothing to put us off🪰
We also had great Telstra reception at this site; however, I believe this can be intermittent, so I wouldn’t rely on it if absolutely necessary 📱


We’d definitely recommend it on your travels if you're exploring the Pilbara coast ❤️
