Today we're talking Lorde's Melodrama (I've been waiting to talk about this one for a while!) Today we'll be diving into Lorde's often party-themed introspections, inspired by a breakup she went through prior to writing the album, so she works through it in Melodrama. We'll talk about fun singles like Green Light, Perfect Places, and Homemade Dynamite, but of course we'll also get into the rest of Melodrama (including the infamous Writer in the Dark shushing incident). And then lastly, I'll ruminate on my thoughts on the album now that it's been out for almost 7 years.
