I am exploring Al Zahia City Centre, the largest mall in Sharjah UAE in March 2024. The 136,000 sq/m mall opened in March 2021 in the middle of the Covid19 Pandemic. It is mostly a mid to slightly upscale shopping destination for families in the emirate of Sharjah. While not as flashy as malls in Dubai with their ultra luxury shops the Al Zahia city centre has everything from a variety of shops, movie theatres, restaurants, and kids play areas. It was pretty quiet when I went during the day in the middle of the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan, as many people were fasting.

Walk with me as i cover the mall and stumble onto a retail store named Daima dedicated to selling dates, honey, and chocolate, where every element is designed to excite the senses and make your mouth water.
As you walk in, you are immediately enveloped by the rich, sweet aroma of fresh dates mingling with the intoxicating scent of fine chocolates and the delicate, floral notes of pure honey. The interior is also so elegantly designed that is my new favourite store whenever I will visit the UAE!
