The Importance of Understanding Wazan, Mauzun and Shighot
• Wazan can be interpreted as a fundamental pattern in Arabic where the pattern consists of three original letters, namely 'ain fi'il (عَ), fa' fi'il (فَ), and lam fi'il ( لَ). If combined, these three letters will form a word, namely فَعَلَ which means to do or do. This is what is called the basic word (أصل الواحد)
• The basic word (أصل الواحد) according to the Ulama' Kufah is fi'il madli, while according to the Ulama' basroh it is Masdar
• From these basic words it can develop into various types and forms of sentences.
• However, there are sentences whose form is not a development of the basic word, these sentences are called jamid sentences. So there is isim jamid and fi'il jamid
• Meanwhile, sentences that are a development of basic words are called mutashorrif or musytaq sentences, either isim or fi'il.
• For fi'il sentences there are those that have a perfect tasrifan called تام التصرف . And there are also those whose tasrifan is not perfect called ناقص التصرف
• Additional letters are collected in سألتمونيها

Benefits of knowing wazan:
• Wazan is used to be able to consider other sentences so that you can find out the original letters and additional letters of the sentence.
• can reduce the chance of errors in processing words and sentences in Arabic. If anything you can fix it
• can easily search for the desired intent and purpose properly and precisely, such as If you want to find the meaning of a sentence in the form of something that is done, just include the wazan isim maf'ul
• can recognize the different meanings of words written using the same letter arrangement

• Mauzun is a word that is patterned or printed based on a pattern. It can be understood that the mauzun must follow the form of his wazan
• Furthermore, Mauzun is also used to match words and sentences that are not in the Tashrif book. This is where MUTHOBAQOH happened
• The muthobaqoh function so that the scattered lafadz are not listed in the tasrif book to be equated with similar lafzadz, provided that the matched lafadz are the same in sighot, bina, wazan, and waqi'
• Shhot is a form of sentence. Shighot can be fi'il madli, fi'il mudlori', masdar, isim fa'il, isim maf'ul, isim masa/makan, isim alat and others
