This event is an annual competition which is held on:- Victoria Park, Southport, Merseyside, UK. The 2024 show was truly a colourful, pyrotechnic, musical extravaganza, with all shows fantastically choreographed to the music. This was the 2nd night's display, held on:- Saturday, 21 September 2024.

Sadly, due to music copyright issues, not all the displays can be shown from the night's displays, but the music is a key part of this competition. Each of the competitor's teams had around 15 technicians on them, and they had just 12 hours to set up their displays, which they hope will wow the judges. Each team had to fire off the displays with split-second accuracy to the music they had chosen. It sounds easy but requires months of planning to do this, and these are some of the best pyrotechnics in the UK, so it might look easy, but trust us, it isn't. Even using computer firing systems, things can go wrong, but conditions on the night were perfect and all displays went off unusually without any major issues. Each team's displays fired approximately 2 tonnes of explosive material, and used around 5 kilometres of wire per team!

As with all competitions, it requires a winner and this year the winner was:- Bright Sparks Fireworks, with 2nd place going to:- Dynamite Fireworks LTD, and 3rd place being given to:- Xplosive Events.
