Timothy Leonard Dalton Leggett, born on 21st March 1946 in Wales, is a distinguished British actor known for his versatile performances on stage, screen, and television. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and began his acting career in the late 1960s, appearing in such films as "The Lion in Winter", "Cromwell", and "Mary Queen of Scots".
Dalton also showcased his acting prowess in various Shakespearean stage productions such as "King Lear" and "Romeo and Juliet".
In the 1980's he gained worldwide prominence for his portrayal of James Bond in the 007 films "The Living Daylights" and "Licence to Kill". His interpretation of Bond was notable for its darker, more introspective approach, earning critical acclaim.
