This is for my wife who was the first in the family to believe, for my Dad who answered the call and fought on the front lines of the civil rights movement so that this day could come, for my Mom who didn't make it to see this moment and for the all those who sacrificed, labored, prayed and dreamed. It's not only about race but we'd dishonor so many if we did not embrace the moment.
