Without doubt, this was the busiest day we've ever seen up at Hartside.

I could not believe the sheer amount of cars & bikes that came up and down that hill. It was well into the thousands, no problem at all.

The weather helped no doubt, it was glorious, not as hot as Saturday, but almost perfect weather for riding a bike or driving a drop top car. I bet the ice cream van did a roaring trade up the top.

Favourites?

Bike wise, I'm gonna say the Suzuki GSX-R with the Team Heron / Wes Cooley / RG500 race replica paint. It looked mega doing power wheelies up the hill.

Car, well I was torn between the McLaren 720S and the TVR Griffith 500, but the TVR gets the nod. Money can buy a 720S, but you buy a Griffith 500 with some brave pills and a longing for simpler times.
