This is part 2 of a 2 part series on how to use a speed square. In this video we'll get into laying out plumb cuts, different ways to figure and mark out level cuts and laying out birdsmouth cuts. I want to thank @Ashley Harwood for the idea to go back to basics. I highly recommend following Ashely, she's a wonderful teach and woodworker.
I like to keep a couple of 12" squares for marking larger material and then in my tool bags, I carry the 7" Martinez Titanium square. This is 100% a luxury tool for me and I love this square.
Oh and another takeaway, if you use a drone for commercial work, you need to be part107 certified. Commercial work includes social media like YouTube if you plan to make an income off of that. I watched a video about this last May and then purchased the Part 107 Course https://sso.teachable.com/secure/2458... I studied and learned for 1 month and then took my test. I scored a 95%, which is a testament to how good Greg and the crew over there teach. That link will save you $100 off the course and support this channel.
