Every weekday The Last Riverboat Postman cruise departs Brooklyn Public Wharf, located a one hour rail trip north of Sydney. Leave the Newcastle bound train at Hawkesbury River station and the cruise boat is a three minute walk from the platform.
The cruise stops at isolated communities like Dangar Island, Kangaroo Point, Milson Island, Marlow and Milson's Passage to deliver mail and parcels whilst passengers enjoy the views of waterside communities and a cup of tea or coffee and a ploughman's lunch. The tour, operated by Hawkesbury Cruises departs weekdays, Monday-Friday at 10am and returns around 1.30pm.
