I got this album as a Christmas gift as a high schooler, and it remains one of my all time favorites. It has some of the finest clarinet playing I have since heard, and to my ears the best renditions of these solo pieces for clarinet (with a bonus transcription of the Andante & Hungarian Rhapsody for bassoon) that you're going to find. I'm sharing the album to YouTube, because it's actually pretty hard to find these days either on this site or via streaming services. Anyway, enjoy Jon Manasse's gorgeous sound and virtuosic playing.
