Took my two friends to KMVY today before the big east coast storm of 2019. Enroute my Garmin 430W flagged loss of terrain integrity and failed. This happened on at east 3 occasions in this 1 hour flight. Luckily we were not on an IFR flight plan. Runway 6/24 at KMVY was closed and we were forced to land on runway 33 with a 14 knot direct crosswind.
