Second Floor Coffee has grown from a humble neighbourhood coffee shop in Kesiman, Sanur, Bali into an empire. With 5 new branches in the capital city of Jakarta and more coming up in the other big cities.

What makes Second Floor Coffee unique started from simple but brilliant idea implemented by their founder, the visionary, Adi Suhendra - creating coffee beverages not for the coffee enthusiasts.

Through his research, Adi discovered that 2 to 3 out of 5 in a crowd of friends visiting a coffee shop usually don't order coffee. They are those friends that buy tea or any other non-coffee sweet beverages. And came a crazy idea to create caffeine based beverages for these people - his famous INDONESIA IN A BOTTLE series.

Refreshing cold brew coffee fermented with fruits and flowers, resulting in truly unique flavours from rose, osmanthus, berries, pineapples to spices such as ginger. The best part is the sweetness in these beverages derived naturally from the sugar content in the plants. Making them favourites amongst the health conscious as well.

However, Adi did not stop there. Being a certified SCA roaster and a coffee lover, he is determined to provide the nation with great tasting classic coffee too. Adi is so particular about how a cup of a milk-based coffee is made that he developed his own unique technic from the frothing to the pouring. Each barista that works in Second Floor has to go through an intense training again for at least three months before they are allowed to serve no matter how experienced they are previously.

These meticulous methods and disciplines are also what makes the brand going stronger than ever.
