For this trip to the Dolomites I set out to test DJI's smallest powerhouse, the Mini 3 Pro in the mountains of Italy. With only a 249g weight I had doubts at how good this would be up at altitude with wind but was so surprised at how agile and capable it was.

Wanting a challenge, I left the larger Mavics at home, and pushed myself and the drone in every location we visited.

With its 4K, multi sensors, light weight and long battery life, it's a drone I'll now choose over the DJI Mavic 2 or 3 Classic for times where weight is key and don't want to carry a huge amount of kit when hiking in the hills.
