After a few months without a road trip we are back out on the highway. For this trip we are focused on a state which we have mostly only ever passed through together - South Carolina!

We have a lot of amazing things planned for this trip, but it starts off with our first destination - Poinsett State Park. As we arrive and set up our camp site we set out to explore the park.

After finding and visiting the park office we explore the surrounding area which includes a beautiful pond and historic gristmill remains. In the evening time we explore 3 of the may trails throughout the park.

After a hiatus during the lingering winter months/weather it is great to be back out in the forest with our Scamp!
