Converted vintage dresser has made this a one-of-a-kind island and conversation piece for your kitchen. The top and pine shelves have been sanded smooth and treated with two coats of Butcher Block Oil and are food-prep safe.
I’ve added a handy towel bar (including towel) which could also be used to hang oven mitts. On the other side I’ve added some hooks for your measuring spoons, measuring cups, and french wire whisk (all included).
The drawers are both quite large and could easily be fitted with drawer organizers to keep your various spatulas, spoons, and thermometers separated.
The pine shelves will hold as much or as little as you like - cookie sheets, cake pans, mixing bowls, cook books, baskets of cookie cutters, etc.
I’ve replaced the original wheels on this dresser for more heavy-duty, locking wheels for easier rolling and stopping where you want it to.
The backside has been left in its original state as a nod to its history. The original makers label is still intact.
This dresser was stripped to bare wood. Primed with two coated of Zinsser BIN primer, then painted with two coats of a Fusion Mineral Paint. Topcoated with two coats of Wise Owl Matte Varnish.
Wood top was stained with General Finishes Nutmeg, and finished with two coats of Watco Clear Butcher Block Wood Oil & Finish.
Dimensions: 40.5” wide x 19” deep x 34.5” tall (Serpentine top has some slightly wider and deeper spots)
