The Real Life And Tragic Ending Of Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley is a great icon of the 20th century, born on January 8, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. His career began when he was 13 years old when he and his family moved to Memphis, where music was an important part of his life.
Elvis began recording at Sun Records in 1954, under the guidance of producer Sam Phillips, who pushed to move African-American music beyond the color zone. Elvis's combination of country, beat and blues created a new genre of music, known as rockabilly, and he became one of the genre's pioneers. In 1955, after joining RCA Victor, Elvis released the single "Heartbreak Hotel", which brought him fame and made him a global star.
