Thrips are minute, slender insects
with fringed wings and unique
asymmetrical mouthparts. Different
thrips species feed mostly on plants
by puncturing and sucking up the
contents.

The life cycle consists of five stages:
egg, larval, prepupal, pupal and
adult.

Sticky traps: These
traps are helpful for controlling
adult thrips.
Spray: If an infestation
is out of control, you will have to
spray with an insecticide.



Today’s video is definitely one I did not want to have to make but I decided since I am going through the struggles of houseplant pests, I’d show you all the steps I take to ensure my plants survival. Thrips are probably the worst plant pest I have personally experienced. It’s definitely better to catch them earlier in their life cycle before they turn into flying adults.
